Questions Use of PCBs in other consumer products.
Canada In addition to use of PCBs in dielectric fluid for industrial electrical equipment, products containing PCBs included: waxes, heat exchange fluids, caulking compounds, cutting oils, carbonless copy paper, fire retardants, flame-proofing, adhesives, dedusting agents, hydraulic fluids, sealants, specialized lubricants, cable insulating paper, paints, vacuum pump oils, printing inks, plasticizers and bridge bearing lubricants. PCB oil was marketed under the name "Askarel".
Australia none known. It is possible that imported products may contain PCBs in small quantities
Taiwan No. PCBs use are completely prohibited by law. Tests are needed to verify whether the current production of fluorescent lights are PCBs-free.
Malaysia -
Japan There are possibilities that PCBs were used in color Television parts. However, we do not have further information.
